What were you pursuing prior to AccioJob? Tell us about your background.

I am currently a final year student of B.Sc. Physics at MS University, Vadodara (2021 batch). I was always keen on Physics and hence took it up. But, through my graduation I realised my interest wasn’t too high to go for research or higher studies and job opportunities were almost nonexistent for us. I had some interest in giving programming a shot as I was introduced to it in a college project and I thought I am good at logic building.

Why did you decide to go for AccioJob?

I came across AccioJob through Instagram. I researched a little bit about the company and founders. Everything seemed to be credible plus the model was such that it was a WIN-WIN for me as I had to pay after placement. I needed a structure and guidance to learn coding in a manner that I could crack a good job as early as possible and AccioJob seemed like a great opportunity. I took their entrance test and cleared it. In the 1 week pre course, I was impressed by their teaching, their team, mentors and the structure they had created for learning. They were honest and transparent about all the policies and catered to every doubt any student had. After clearing the interview, I was mentally prepared to give my 100% time and effort to the course.

How was your experience with AccioJob?

Terrific. The most I have ever learned in my life. The classes and assignments got me on a disciplined schedule. The mentors were exemplary, they knew what skills companies want and made us focus on those. They gave personal attention to all students when needed in terms of doubt resolution, placement opportunities or general career guidance. I am confident of my skill set in DS Algo, Frontend (React-Redux) and backend (Node.js) now.

How were the placement opportunities with AccioJob?

I am now placed at almost double of what my expectation was :) But seriously, I interviewed with around 7-8 companies, got a paid freelance project through their contacts and am now working as a Software Engineer at Searce, all thanks to them! After looking at my batch, I can confidently say, if you as a student put in the required effort into their course, they will get you placed for sure.

" AccioJob was the best Decision of my life :) ".
