Is AccioJob good for placements?

Hi, I am Sourabh. I studied at AccioJob in their first batch. I am currently working as a Full Stack Developer Intern in NPK B2B and will join full time there in July. I had given interviews for almost 10-12 companies in a tenure of 6 months, but got rejected in most of them in some or the other round. I learnt a lot from my experiences and failures. Finally, I got placed in 2 companies parallely. I chose NPK B2B. I am working as an intern in NPK B2B on mobile dev. We started with a 2 week training on it and then the actual work began. There’s lots to learn as we are building out the product, and the culture is great, work hours are flexible. I am highly grateful to AccioJob for providing me with so many opportunities and I highly recommend it to everyone.

I am Sourabh, a resident of Ghaziabad and a former student of AccioJob. I will graduate in July this year from IET Lucknow in Electronics. I am currently working as a Full Stack Developer Intern in NPK B2B and will join full time there in July.

AccioJob came to my college through placement cell. In the beginning, I did not believe in the guarantee they were providing. But still I gave their test and interview, and felt the training was nice. I chose Accio over others because it was a startup and I found the founders directly interacting and mentoring us. Also, the number of students per batch is less, so I felt I would get the amount of help and attention I personally need. And I found the people to be very active and helpful there.

I had coding experience before joining Accio, but not at a level I gained after the training. Although I had done internships in machine learning, I did not have enough confidence about my skills. I was just a beginner and did not have a clear approach towards problems. I wasn't even regular and not very enthusiastic about coding. But, after the training, I have gained a lot of confidence. I can come up with good approaches to solve questions and also have become consistent towards my work.

Our mentor, Harsh sir, is a very nice teacher. He is one of the co-founders and an alumni of IIT Delhi, and therefore has a logical and analytical thinking level. He helps out everyone according to their particular needs. Learning React was the part I found the most interesting and easy to study and it was my favorite.

I had given interviews for almost 10-12 companies in a tenure of 6 months, but got rejected in most of them. This definitely made me sad, but that was a short term reaction. I stood back again and learnt a lot from my experiences and failures. Finally, I got placed in 2 companies parallely. I chose NPK B2B.

The advice I would like to give to students is to have belief in yourself. Being consistent and not quitting in the middle of the journey is half the battle won. So stay consistent, believe in yourself, focus on learning and everything will work out well! All the best :)

“Hardworking is the perfect word to associate with AccioJob according to me. Everyone there is so hardworking and they push you to do the same. ”
